Reviews
A lovely positioned site on the Rhine River. Very straight forward check in & then found our pitch. Very clean shower block & toilets. We used the onsite restaurant & bar which we found very good value. Would definitely return.
Had to pay extra for a warm shower but in all a lovely place.
Tent site was excellent, nice grass and good shade. The facilities were basic, no hand towel left in the container some cubicles out of toilet paper. The facilities needed a good clean and spruce up.
Spacious , green and quiet camping site with very good sanitary facilities. Not dominated by caravans, an exception in this part of Germany. Run by rather unfriendly east europeans
awesome
Nice little campsite close to the Rhine. Bonn is within cycling distance. Free choice of seats. The campsite also has a beer garden where you can have a drink and eat small dishes. Lots of shade due to the tall trees on the site. We have been here twice and experience the atmosphere as pleasant. We found it nice and cozy to be close to the beer garden. If you are less into this, it is better to choose a spot a little further to the rear of the campsite. The sanitary facilities are fairly new and clean. We do miss lockable washing cabins. The place also makes a well-kept impression. A tip to visit is the nearby Drachenburg Castle, with the train up and the ruins.
Campsite is very near Rhein and some beaches to enter Rhein.
We came with a small trekking tent and got put randomly in-between caravans and campers. There was no field space available just for tents.
Showers were paid. Toiletry building was clean and equipped.
Campsite owner was friendly and flexible. We wanted to leave a few hours later than the estimated checkout time and that was fine.
We paid €20 a night for 1 small tent and 2 adults, which price wise is avarage: but for being printed somewhere in-between and by that not really experiencing the camping vibe: that was a bit schäde.
Overall a good place to be :)
Ok place in nice surroundings
